Did you know that we have co-op students? Here are a few words from one of our amazing Veterinary Technician students Erin Gracey!

Hello All,

My name is Erin Gracey and I am currently in my second year of the veterinary technician program at Sheridan College. I have been around Briarwood Animal Hospital for 8 years now, first working here when I was in high school, volunteering during my time attending the University of Guelph, and now doing my field placement for the vet tech program.

I love my time at Briarwood and enjoy interacting with both the clients and obviously, the animals. My love for animals is one of the main reasons I chose to pursue a career in veterinary medicine. Of course, some days around the clinic can be hectic and busy, but I wouldn’t have it any other way. The staff at Briarwood are always so welcoming, friendly, and have taught me a lot. I feel privileged to be able to learn and perfect my skills from such talented veterinarians and technicians. I look forward to the rest of my time here!
