Non-invasive diagnostic tools used to identify internal issues and provide targeted medical care.
Having the ability to take x-rays on site, allows our veterinarians to have the information they may need to quickly diagnose your canine companion. We have recently moved to digital radiographs which not only helps to minimize the radiation exposure to your pet and our staff, but it also helps give answers almost immediately.
Sometimes there is no time for preparation. If your pet is in need of an x-ray immediately, we have the ability to accommodate your pet on the spot. On occasion, an empty bladder or stomach may be needed therefore requiring an appointment for a later date or time. Your veterinarian may suggest that sedation is necessary to ensure the most positive experience for your pet.
The cost associated depends on the number of radiographs that are required. Together with the veterinarian an estimate would be made and agreed upon prior to the procedure so there are no surprises.
